Tyax Lodge and Heliskiing: Hiring Seasonal Heliskiing Assistant Operations Manager

Tyax Lodge and Heliskiing is looking to hire a long term position for our Winter Operations Team. The Heliskiing Assistant Operations Manager is an employee and works directly with the Management Team and the Guide Team. The Assistant Operations Manager reports directly to the Heli Skiing Operations Manager.

The primary role of the Assistant Operations Manager is to be a main contact point for the Guide Team during day to day operations to maintain a structured approach to communications risk management and a smooth flow to our operating day.  While supervising, the Assistant Manager is responsible for upholding and utilizing our daily SOP, ERP and ASP while managing our daily operations and exercising a global approach to Risk Management.

Heli Ski guiding is a main component built into this role. The Assistant Operations Manager is one of our primary Full Time Ski Guides and is defined as a Full Time Ski Guide within our guide matrix. This role also has a component of administrative duties that support our Heli Ski Operations.

The potential candidate will exhibit a calm demeanor, have a thoughtful approach to decision making, risk management, efficiency and a proven process for problem solving. A willingness to learn, an interest in systems and organization, along with a keen eye to detail is a must. Please see the job posting for requirements.
